You Can Make a Difference in the Life of a Child
Sponsor a Child
Without treatment, children who are sexually abused will be at high risk of developing alcohol or drug problems, teen pregnancy, academic failure, being a school drop-out, eating disorders, depression, health problems, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or suicide.
At the Children's Center for Hope & Healing, we make a difference. We provide no-cost therapeutic services to children ages 4-17 who have been victims of sexual abuse. With our help, children learn that the abuse they have suffered was not their fault. We teach children how to keep themselves safe in the future. We work with families so that everyone knows how to protect our community’s children. Your contribution of $500 can underwrite the treatment of a child. Because we work so hard to hold down costs, the cost of treatment for a child is just about $500.
If you’d like, you can team-up with a group of friends, colleagues, members of your civic group, or others from your church to Sponsor a Child. If you would like to talk with others about this opportunity, you can print a copy of our sponsor a child flyer, here.
