Other Services the Children's Center for Hope & Healing Provides
We Can Help
The Children's Center for Hope & Healing is dedicated to stopping the cycle of child sexual abuse and to preventing the exploitation of children.
In addition to the other services described on this site, the Children's Center for Hope & Healing also:
- Psychosexual Evaluations: The Children's Center for Hope & Healing licensed staff perform psychosexual evaluations for children and teens. A psychosexual evaluation is an assessment that focuses on a child's sexual adjustment. It helps to determine the extent to which a child is at-risk of committing a sexual offense. It also helps to identify the specific types of treatment a child needs to get well. Often, the Children's Center for Hope & Healing performs psychosexual evaluations on adolescents at the request of the judicial system. FRP charges a fee for this service. Call for more details: 770-532-6530.
- Parent Education: The Children's Center for Hope & Healing provides parent education and training on a number of topics including how to protect your child, healthy versus atypical sexual development, and tips on parenting children who have been abused.
- Sexual harassment training for youth: The FRP offers educational workshops on sexual harassment for teens.
- As experts in the field of sexual abuse and the treatment of children who have been sexually abused and/or have sexual behavior problems, the agency is available for consultation and educational workshops on other related topics.
The is supported in part by the United Ways of Hall, Lumpkin, Dawson, Forsyth, White, and Habersham Counties.
